1. Introduction
This policy outlines the framework under which our platform operates as a marketplace, connecting merchants and riders. We facilitate the interaction by providing a portal where merchants can find riders to deliver their goods. The platform serves only as a facilitator and is not involved in the settlement of financial transactions between merchants and riders.

2. Merchant and Rider Relationship

  • Merchants will be able to use our platform to connect with riders who can deliver orders.
  • Riders are independent contractors, and as such, they are responsible for managing their own transactions with the merchants.
  • All payments, including Cash on Delivery (COD), should be settled directly between the merchant and the rider.

3. COD (Cash on Delivery) Policy

  • Riders are entrusted with the collection of Cash on Delivery payments on behalf of the merchant.
  • Direct Settlement: Merchants and riders are expected to settle COD amounts directly. Our platform is only responsible for facilitating the connection between the two parties and does not manage or process payments.

4. Rider Responsibility Regarding COD

  • Riders are expected to ensure that COD payments are collected accurately and promptly.
  • In the event of any discrepancies or issues regarding the payment collection, riders are required to resolve the matter directly with the merchant.

5. Merchant’s Responsibility

  • Merchants must ensure that proper communication channels are established with the riders to ensure smooth COD transactions.
  • Merchants are encouraged to maintain records of all transactions and communicate clearly with riders about payment details and expectations.

6. COD Non-Return or Discrepancies

  • In the event that a rider does not return the collected COD amount to the merchant, the merchant should immediately contact the rider for clarification and resolution.
  • Complaint Process: If the issue is not resolved between the merchant and the rider, merchants are required to provide all necessary details, including:
    • The transaction reference number
    • Proof of the COD amount to be collected
    • Any correspondence or communication between the merchant and the rider regarding the issue
  • Upon receipt of these details, we will assist the merchant by providing all relevant documentation and supporting materials that may be necessary to file a complaint with the appropriate local authorities, such as consumer protection agencies, law enforcement, or other relevant parties.

7. Our Role as a Platform

  • We are not responsible for any disputes between merchants and riders regarding COD payments or deliveries.
  • We only act as a marketplace facilitator where merchants and riders can connect, and we do not interfere in the financial transactions between them.

8. Dispute Resolution

  • We encourage merchants and riders to resolve any disputes amicably through direct communication.
  • In cases where direct resolution is not possible, we can provide guidance and documentation to help merchants pursue the matter with relevant authorities.

9. Liability Disclaimer

  • As a marketplace facilitator, we are not liable for any loss, damage, or issue arising from the direct financial relationship between the merchant and the rider, including but not limited to issues regarding COD collections or returns.

10. Changes to the Policy
We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated to merchants and riders using the platform, and the revised policy will take effect immediately upon notification.
